Supporting Transformation Through:

  • Empathy & Compassion First

Change is hard. If it were easy, you wouldn’t be here. Often the thought of change can trigger feelings of “not good enough” or imply there is something wrong with you. Sometimes we don’t know what to do or feel tired of failing at what we should do. We acknowledge and respect how difficult change can be. We believe those who will be successful are those who prioritize compassion, empathy, and self-care.

  • Client Centered, Systems Focus

I believe in building systems and structure that support goals, but goals are not the focus. Our work together focuses on creating a lifestyle that supports actions that lead to continuous progress and improvement. I believe that goal setting is optimal for those who currently have the right “lifestyle” that supports a specific goal. We believe lasting change is the result of developing a new way of living to support transformation.

  • Direction Accountability

Coaching helps to create structure and accountability for personal transformation while focusing on performance that reinforces healthy behavior. Our work together will focus on the appropriate level of accountability so that you feel seen, heard and you feel confident you have the clarity, focus, and drive to act toward progress.

  • Evidence Based Best Practice

Our coaching and consulting services are built on classic psychological theories including Carl Jung, Abraham Maslow, Roberto Assagioli, Carl Rodgers, and many contemporary scientists, Rober Sapolsky, Martin Seligman, Brene Brown, as well as many thought leaders, Simon Sinek, Tom Peters, Tony Robins, and others. Our methodology is unparalleled and represents a synthesis of multiple schools of thought, cutting-edge research, and a customized holistic approach that focuses on the client first.

Holding Space

As an Organizational Psychologist, Coach, and Consultant, I am constantly challenged by my practice of humility. I don’t have the answers, but to create a space where you feel confident to explore, experiment, and find the answers that work best for you. My job is to hold space. The best mentors I’ve had never told me what to do. They asked me what I wanted to do and encouraged me to follow the path I was drawn to. When I lost motivation or felt discouraged they reflected back to me my purpose and helped guide me back on track.

While I love theory and philosophy, as a coach I find sifting through tons of research to find practical application, initially driven by my own personal desire to improve my life. As a young man (not much younger than I am now) I struggled with anxiety, depression, addiction issues, and work-related stress. Despite all my accomplishments, I experienced a great sense of shame and failure. I was admired and respected as a professional all while struggling to maintain a facade. I was suffering and sought desperately to find a solution. Ultimately, trying to manage my struggles on my own led to the destruction of my career and the life I worked so hard to build. Gratefully, I’ve been given a second chance.

Supporting my clients through their challenges is an opportunity for me to offer what I desperately needed when I wanted to give up, hope. I’ve come to love sharing my experience, strength, and wisdom with the clients I work with and I’d be honored to share and take part in your journey with you.

My Mission

Early in my career, I enjoyed research, theory, statistics, and believed that knowledge was key to the problems I was most concerned with. More recently, I see how the abundance of information has become so nuanced it’s only created more confusion. I’ve become disheartened by the number of new ways we frame problems but offer little to no new solutions. A lifelong student of psychology, science, self-help, and spirituality, I’ve tried to make sense of it all. I’ve tried to simplify the complexity of human potential and our resistance to change.

My life’s work is less about the answers I’ve found that work for me, and more about working with people who are searching for their own answers. I offer a process to help my clients build personal understanding. My work is a synthesize multiple schools of thought to offer a simple framework for clients to creating meaningful, pragmatic progress toward personal growth. My hope for my clients is not to just understand themselves better, but to take more action toward living a life where they feel empowered to contribute to the people, places, and causes that are closest to them.
